Does the tracker come with a SIM card?
No. You'll need to supply your own 4G SIM card. We recommend ALDI Mobile Pay As You Go, which can run a tracker for as little as around $15 a year — it's cheap, widely available, and works straight out of the packet.
Will it work on the 3G network?
No — the tracker uses 4G LTE only. Australia's 3G networks have been switched off, so every GPS4Wheels tracker is built for 4G from the ground up.
What happens after my 3 free years of tracking?
Your first 3 years of live tracking through our portal are included in the purchase price. After that, ongoing tracking is just $10 a year — or you can stop paying at any time and fall back to SMS location requests instead.
Can I get a location without paying for tracking?
Yes. Every device can be sent a text message directly, and it will reply with its current GPS location. It's a genuine no-subscription option — no portal, no login, no ongoing cost.
What can I track with this?
Cars, 4WDs, trucks, utes, trailers, caravans, boats and motorbikes. If it has 12V power or room for a small hidden unit, it can be tracked.
Where is my location data stored?
Your live tracking runs through our own tracking platform at track.gps4wheels.com, which we host and manage ourselves. Nothing is sold to third parties or handed to advertising networks.
Is delivery included in the price?
Yes — $149 covers the device delivered anywhere in Australia.
Do I need to be technical to set it up?
No. Pop in an activated SIM, place the tracker, and register it on the portal. Most customers are up and running within a few minutes.
Can I use this for a small business or fleet?
Yes — plenty of tradies and small fleet owners use GPS4Wheels across several vehicles. Order as many units as you need; each one gets its own tracking login.
